Swarovski Crystals

Often referred to as "Austrian Crystals", Swarovski crystals are perhaps the finest man made crystals in the world.  They are world renowned for their brilliant clarity and exquisit cut and finish.  They are fired using a combination of natural minerals and quartz sand, and then cooled slowly to avoid stress and inclusions.  They are available in many different colours.
Swarovski crystals are manufactured in Austria by the company founded by Daniel Swarovski.  It is a family owned business and along with providing loose stones and components for many uses, produce their own line of products.

AB refers to:  the highly iridescent surface coating on AB crystals that creates the rainbow effect.  It stands for Aurora Borealis (AB) and is named after the Northern Lights.  It is achieved by vapour blasting with an invisible, micro thim metal sheet on the lower half of the crystal.

Care of Crystals:  store away from direct light and heat in a cloth or pastic bag.  This will avoid jewellery being scratched.  Clean in warm soapy water with a soft cloth, rinse in hot water and air dry on soft cloth or tissue.
