14ct Gold Filled

Gold Filled is the process of heating and pressure bonding a thin layer of gold to a metal core - usually brass.  The gold content must be 1/20th (20 layers) or more giving it more value than "gold plated" items.  It is tarnish resistant and can be worn by most people without reactions or difficulties.
